Sandy Praeger, Kansas insurance commissioner, will address a luncheon meeting today of the Lawrence Express Network of the American Business Women’s Assn. at Lawrence Country Club, 400 Country Club Terrace.

Praeger, a Lawrence resident and former Lawrence mayor, state representative and state senator, will speak at the meeting that runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Praeger plans to discuss her career, her job responsibilities and other matters involving insurance and employment.

The meeting is open to the public. Cost is $10 for lunch. No reservations are required.
