The history of the Underground Railroad will be the subject of a free story hour Saturday at Watkins Community Museum of History, 1047 Mass.

The “U is for Underground Railroad” story hour for children and adults will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Underground Railroad was the clandestine network that brought slaves to freedom during the Civil War era.
