Sidewalk sale
To the editor:
I just read the article on Downtown Lawrence Inc. attempting to gain exclusive use of the sidewalk for the annual downtown sidewalk sale. I am originally from New Jersey, and there extortion is not so much a crime as a pastime. I thought moving to Kansas, I would leave that behind. Apparently not.
