Allen Press Inc., a Lawrence-based provider of printing and publishing services, has named Rick Moore as director of quality systems and process engineering. Moore is responsible for implementing continuous improvement of organization processes and managing special projects.

Moore has more than 30 years of experience in the field, including supportive training of personnel in continuous improvement teams, problem solving and data collection, and analysis processes. His experience also includes management of corporate projects involving construction of new facilities and the computerization of inventory control and scheduling.

Moore, a U.S. Navy veteran, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the State University of New York.
