Kansas University’s Small Business Development Center will present “The Right Start,” a seminar for startups, from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the center, 734 Vt., suite 104.

The seminar will give prospective or new business owners an overview of licensing, permits, registration, taxes, accounting, business plan writing and financing. Individual questions also will be addressed.

The seminar is free, but an optional resources notebook for small businesses is available for $20. Preregistration is required.
