Three directors in the Lenape Drainage District will be chosen during the April 3 general election.

Directors will hold their offices for four years or until their successors are elected or appointed.

Anyone interested in being a director should file a declaration of candidacy with the Leavenworth County clerk’s office by noon Feb. 28.

Members of the three-person board of directors must own land in the district and must live in Leavenworth County.
