February 8, 2007

Terry Leatherman, vice president for public affairs at the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to serve as interim chief executive officer for the statewide pro-business advocacy group.

While the chamber continues its nationwide search for a president and CEO, Leatherman will oversee the chamber's day-to-day operations, said David Kerr, Kansas chamber chairman.

Leatherman, a Kansas University graduate, has worked at the Kansas Chamber for 18 years.
