Two Lawrence attorneys are among 20 who have applied for a position on the Kansas Court of Appeals.
Martha Coffman and Suzanne Carey McAllister have applied for the vacancy created by the appointment of Lee A. Johnson, formerly of the appeals court, to the Kansas Supreme Court.
A nominating commission will review the applications and conduct interviews Feb. 20-21 and then submit three finalists to Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who will make the appointment.
