Tom Pyle, mayor of Eudora, left, gets passed by Lawrence Mayor Mike Amyx near the finish line in a race to fill their food carts with a list of groceries at the Hy-Vee store on Clinton Parkway. Pyle and Amyx, along with Hank Booth of KLWN, Cody Howard of Sunflower Broadband and Roy Paslay, mayor of Lecompton, participated Tuesday in the "Race Against Hunger" organized by the Douglas County Farm Bureau. Amyx squeezed past Pyle for first place in the race.

why did they think Amyx would NOT win ???????? running against 3 older men & 1 who cant walk an extra 50 feet to cross the street at a crosswalk
