Thai House to reopen Friday on 23rd Street

More than two months after closing its downtown restaurant, Thai House is set to reopen Friday on 23rd Street, with an updated menu and lower prices.

Thai House is taking over the former site of another Asian restaurant, Royal Peking, at 711 W. 23rd St.

Richie Caldon, owner of Thai House, said the menu would feature new stir-fry dishes, changes to existing noodle offerings and added selections influenced by cuisine from northern Thailand.

The restaurant’s downtown location at 724 Mass. closed Oct. 15. Caldon said he had resolved personal concerns that had forced the closing.

Prices will be lower at the new location, he noted, with entrees ranging between $7 and $11.

Thai House will be open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. For more information, call 312-9991.
