Lawrence lawyer Shon Qualseth has been elected to the board of directors of the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel.

Qualseth, of Thompson Ramsdell & Qualseth P.A. in Lawrence, was installed as a board member Nov. 30, during the association’s annual meeting in Kansas City, Mo. He will serve a two-year term.

The Topeka-based nonprofit organization has a membership of more than 200 Kansas lawyers who devote a substantial portion of their practice to the defense of litigated cases.
