KU’s Chi Omega helps Lawrence boy

Kansas University’s Chi Omega sorority fulfilled the dreams of a 4-year-old Lawrence boy when it raised $5,000 in a Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraiser, said Brandi Lane, special events and communications manager for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas. The sorority raised the funds during a golf tournament it conducted in the fall, and sent a boy named Isaac, who has leukemia, to Disney World.

Chi Omega began its affiliation with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas in 2002, and it has raised more than $2 million in the past five years.
