Lawrence Transit System will accept a special bus fare Thursday – canned goods.

Riders can bring any nonperishable food item to the bus in exchange for a one-way trip. The donation is good for riders on the fixed-route system as well as certified passengers on the T Lift paratransit service. Items collected will be donated to Lawrence agencies.
