Woman reports beating, robbery
A 25-year-old Lawrence woman was beaten and robbed while attending a party.
Lawrence police said they were called at 11:32 a.m. Sunday to check on the woman at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The woman said some personal items were taken from her during the incident, which occurred Saturday night at a residence in the 800 block of Murrow Court. No arrests have been made and police are continuing to investigate.
The woman’s condition was not available Monday.
