Tips sought in KU robbery, vandalism

A Kansas University student was attacked and robbed early Saturday when he caught four men vandalizing his car near Douthart Scholarship Hall, 1345 La.

The student approached the men about 2 a.m. and was struck by two of the suspects. They also took the student’s cell phone and then fled. Damage and losses were estimated at more than $4,000. The Kansas University Public Safety Office is continuing to investigate.
