Dental clinic launches phone recycling drive

The Douglas County Dental Clinic, in cooperation with the PaceButler Corp., is starting a cell phone recycling fundraising program to help the environment and the clinic.

Every cell phone donated to the clinic can raise up to $50. Funds raised by the nonprofit clinic will directly benefit the low-income, uninsured population in Douglas County.

Anyone wanting to donate an old cell phone can drop it off at the clinic, 316 Maine.

The Douglas County Dental Clinic serves residents who are uninsured and meet federal poverty guidelines.
