Meeting to review ‘Faces of China’

Dennis Karney, Ned N. Fleming Distinguished Teaching Professor in the School of Business at Kansas University, will discuss his experiences and insights involving China during a breakfast meeting of Kansas International.

His discussion, “The Many Faces of China Today: Insights from Eight Trips Since 2002,” is the featured presentation of the event scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Friday at Alvamar Country Club.

Karney, drawing on five years of experiences in China, plans to offer insights from his work teaching executives, government officials and MBA study groups. He will share stories from real people to help boost understanding of how China is changing as its economy opens.

Karney, who has been at KU since 1984, concentrates on business, quality management and organizational change.
