The Salvation Army in Lawrence is seeking nonperishable food donations.

The pantry is low on food because of an increase in orders during the past couple of months. It is in need of: boxed dinners, canned meats, cereal, canned vegetables, peanut butter and jelly.

Donations can be dropped off at The Salvation Army, 10th and New Hampshire streets. For more information, call Donnie Hornberger at 843-4188.
