Douglas County Bank to honor retiring VP

Lois Uihlein is retiring after more than 26 years at Douglas County Bank.

Uihlein, who started at the bank in 1980 as a secretary, is leaving as the bank’s assistant vice president for loan services, a post she has held since 2001. She had become a loan officer in 1993, after having joined the Loan Services Department in 1992. She served as administrative secretary from 1986 to 1992.

Her retirement is effective Aug. 31.

Bank officials will conduct a reception in Uihlein’s honor from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 31 at the main bank, 300 W. Ninth St.
