Apartment complex plans put on hold
Plans for a new apartment complex at the southeast corner of 31st Street and Ousdahl Road have been put on hold again.
Developers of the proposed project asked city commissioners on Tuesday night to delay hearing the project until November or December.
The delay was sought to give the development group, Fairfield Residential, more time to create a development plan for 37 acres immediately south of the 24 acres that they are proposing for the apartment complex. The developers told commissioners Tuesday that it became clear that it would be better to create plans for both pieces of property at the same time.
