One person was killed this afternoon in a head-on collision on Kansas Highway 10 at the Kansas Highway 7 interchange, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The westbound lanes on K-10 were closed at Woodland. Traffic was reduced to one lane on the eastbound side of K-10 east of K-7, a patrol spokesman said.

Two vehicles were involved. A special accident investigations team is on the scene, she said.
