The Douglas County Appraiser’s office will mail the 2007 personal property valuation notices on Monday.

The notice includes the value placed on personal property for this year. It also includes a description of the property, such as mobile homes, boats and business equipment.

Taxpayers may request an appeal appointment by calling the taxpayer service number listed on the notice by 5 p.m. May 15. Taxpayers should bring supporting documentation when appealing a value.
