Museum to offer tea for Mother’s Day
The Watkins Community Museum of History plans a Mother’s Day Tea on May 12 at its building at 1047 Mass.
The program, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., costs $15 per person. For reservations, call 841-4109 by May 5.
Those who attend are asked to bring stories and memories of Elizabeth Miller Watkins, the namesake of three buildings on the Kansas University campus. She died in 1939.
