Douglas County government offices at the courthouse, 1100 Mass., will have an open house Monday to celebrate National County Government Week.

The public is invited to visit the courthouse and observe their government in action. County leaders say this is a chance for visitors to gain a better understanding of how county government works. The open house starts at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be provided.

Three of the main county offices are participating in the open house: the clerk’s office, register of deeds and treasurer’s office.
