Patrick Nichols, a Lawrence attorney, recently made a presentation during the Office of Judicial Administration’s Settlement Conference Training for Judges in Topeka.

The presentation was part of the conference that drew more than 30 district court judges to receive training in techniques of mediation to assist them in handling settlement conferences.

Nichols’ presentation included information regarding core values of mediation, Kansas mediation ethics and codes of ethics in other states. Nichols is a full-time mediator and arbitrator.

His firm, Associates in Dispute Resolution LLC, provides services in Kansas and Missouri.
