Living wage

To the editor:

If the state Legislature wants to help lower the cost of welfare, allow people to seek medical care other than the emergency room, possibly improve K-12 grades and last, but not least, the possibility of increased productivity, a living wage will go a long way to improve things for these people. A living wage does not mean T-bone steak twice a day and a new Cadillac every year. A living wage would go far in allowing people to improve their living conditions.

There is not enough space here to discuss living wage, so I encourage you to keep an open mind and see what the computer search engine finds.
