Topeka ? Hannah Carlson’s goal with 17 minutes remaining lifted Free State High to a 1-0 soccer victory Monday over Topeka High.

Grace Lang found Carlson, a freshman, in front of the goal to set up the match’s lone goal, which gave FSHS (3-3-2) its third straight victory.

Free State goalie Megan Hrinchir recorded her third shutout of the season.

FSHS coach Jason Pendleton also cited Jenni Brooks and Logan Keasling for “strong games.”
