Hall of Fame inducts former Haskell player
The American Indian Athletic Hall of Fame inducted five athletes, including a former football player at Haskell Indian Nations University, at a ceremony on Saturday in Tulsa, Okla.
Pete Shepherd, a quarterback and defensive back for Haskell, joins American Indian athletes including Jim Thorpe and Billy Mills in the hall of fame.
