Instead of fixing breakfast on the morning of April 28, why not head to downtown Lawrence for a pancake feed?

The Arc of Douglas County will play host to its benefit Pancake Feed between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 28 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1234 Ky.

Tickets for the event cost $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 6 to 12. Children younger than 6 will be admitted free.

Proceeds from the event support advocacy programs and special needs for people who are served by the Arc, which offers advocacy support, case management and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families in Douglas and Jefferson counties, as well as Ottawa.
