Eudora’s Nottingham Elementary School will have its kindergarten roundup April 26 and 27, by appointment only.

A parent meeting to schedule appointment times and gather information will be at 7 p.m. April 23 at the school, 1428 Elm St.

The school district has created a brochure for parents on what their children should know before they start kindergarten. The information is divided into sections including pre-academics, and social, adaptive, language and motor skills.

The brochures are available at the school office, the district office, 1002 Elm St., and The Eudora News, 1402-B Church St.

Before the roundup sessions, parents are asked to acquire a birth certificate and gather health information, including a Kansas immunization record and physical exam/personal health history. A dental examination is optional.

Children must be born before or on Aug. 31, 2002, to enter kindergarten in fall 2007.
