Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Animal Control officers responded to a call about two dogs running loose and attacking a small Chihuahua about 7:15 p.m. March 30 in the 700 block of Joseph Drive. Police helped transport a Corgi-heeler mix and a border collie to the Lawrence Humane Society while the Chihuahua was taken to a veterinary clinic in Overland Park for surgery.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Stouffer Place, Kansas University campus: The KU Public Safety office reported that someone stole a jewelry box and its contents, valued at $1,520, between April 2 and April 7 from an apartment.

¢ 100 block of Indian Avenue: A 26-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of $1,975 in cash and $250 worth of personal property from his home between 8 a.m. Friday and 3:15 p.m. Monday.
