Parker didn’t let the cold weather bother him last week. He finished 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs during a 16-0 victory Wednesday against Leavenworth and was 3-for-5 with a homer, double and three RBIs in a 12-6 win Thursday at Shawnee Mission West.

Flannigan played a part in four victories Tuesday as the Firebirds won a triangular meet at Shawnee Mission Northwest. Flannigan won the 200-yard individual medley and the 500 freestyle and swam legs on the victorious 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
