LMH officer reappointed to state commission

Kathy Clausing, vice president and chief development officer for Lawrence Memorial Hospital, has been reappointed to serve on the Kansas Volunteer Commission, Gov. Kathleen Sebelius announced Friday.

The commission provides resources, including finances and training, to support local programs statewide that use volunteerism as a way to address challenges.

Terms on the commission last three years.

Clausing is responsible for the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Association, and oversees the hospital’s Community Relations, Community Education, Customer Information Center and Volunteer Services departments.
