Ballots from Tuesday's elections are now official
All of the ballots from Tuesday's City Commission and School Board elections are now official - and the results remain unchanged. Enlarge video
The ballots from Tuesday's Lawrence City Commission and school board elections are now official.
And the results remain unchanged after Douglas County commissioners canvassed the vote Friday morning.
They allowed 103 provisional ballots. In all, 14,735 ballots were cast for a voter turnout of 19 percent.
City Commission winners are Mike Dever, Rob Chestnut and Boog Highberger. They will take office Tuesday.
School board winners are Scott Morgan, Rich Minder, Mary Loveland and Marlene Merrill. They will take office in July.
