Protection One Inc., a Lawrence-based provider of monitored security services, has named Kim G. Lessner as the company's chief marketing officer.
The 25-year veteran of market strategy and business development is responsible for furthering efforts to increase growth in recurring monthly revenue and to retain valuable customers through market segmentation as well as product and service differentiation.
Lessner joins Protection One from Verizon Communications, where she most recently served as vice president for enterprise target marketing. Lessner joined Verizon when it merged with GTE Corp., where she had served in executive positions involving market strategy, consumer strategy and market research.
Previously, Lessner was responsible for strategic marketing at US West, Nissan Motor Corp. and Sears, Roebuck & Co. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in economics.
