J-W photographer’s portrait earns award
Lawrence Journal-World photographer Mike Yoder will be honored next month by the Inland Press Assn. for a portrait photograph.
Yoder won third place in the portrait/personality category for a photo of a girl and her horse.
The 2006 Inland News Picture Contest was sponsored by Indiana University. The awards will be presented during Inland’s annual meeting Oct. 16 in Chicago.
