Take charge
To the editor:
If Kansas University buildings are in such bad shape, where are the ones in charge or do they expect others to bail them out? If you own a building, house or even a barn, when something starts going wrong, you fix it then. If not, you soon have slums.
KU is a business, just larger than some. If they don’t budget money for repairs they should know someday they will have to pay for larger repairs by letting them go. Why do they think they are superior to other longtime businesses in Lawrence? That money should be in reserve each year. Hello – is anyone in charge?
