LHS homecoming parade set for Friday

Lawrence High School’s annual homecoming parade – featuring football players, colorful class floats, candidates for homecoming king and queen and the LHS Marching Band – is set for Friday afternoon.
The parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. near 11th and Massachusetts streets. It will travel south on Massachusetts, stopping for a performance in front of Babcock Place, 1700 Mass. It will then proceed to 19th Street, turning west and ending at the LHS parking lot.
The royal couple will be crowned Friday at the LHS-Leavenworth game at Haskell Stadium.
