Topeka Kansas University Chancellor Robert Hemenway today received a $9,435 or 3.9 percent payraise.
Hemenway was making a state salary of $240,884 per year. Now he will make $250,319 per year.
His compensation cap, which can include supplemental income from endowment sources, is $319,280, a 4 percent increase from last year.
The Kansas Board of Regents gave raises to Hemenway and leaders of the other five public universities and Reggie Robinson, president and chief executive of the regents.
"Our institutional leaders provide impressive leadership for their respective institutions," the regents said in a prepared release.
Here are the salaries approved by the regents, along with their compensation cap.
Hemenway, $250,519; cap of $319,280
Jon Wefald (Kansas State) $239,599; cap of $296,400
Don Beggs (Wichita State) $209,682; cap of $260,000
Ed Hammond (Fort Hays State) $190,000; cap of $210,000
Tom Bryant (Pittsburg State) $190,000; cap of $210,000
Mike Lane (Emporia State) $190,000; cap of $200,000
Reggie Robinson (regents president) $160,000; no cap
