Vandalism reported at five churches

Vehicles, windows or other property at five Lawrence churches were vandalized during the weekend, but police said it’s unknown whether the incidents were related.

Late Friday or Saturday, someone broke a glass door at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 606 W. 29th Terrace. Someone broke a window during the same time frame at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2700 Lawrence Ave.

A sign worth $500 was damaged at Ninth Street Missionary Outreach Center, 901 Tenn., and vehicle windshields were damaged in the parking lots of First Regular Missionary Baptist Church, 1646 Vt., and Lawrence Free Methodist Church, 3001 Lawrence Ave.
