Vehicles, windows or other property at five Lawrence churches were vandalized during the weekend, but police said it's unknown whether the incidents were related.

Late Friday or Saturday, someone broke a glass door at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 606 W. 29th Terrace. Someone broke a window during the same time frame at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2700 Lawrence Ave.

A sign worth $500 was damaged at Ninth Street Missionary Outreach Center, 901 Tenn., and vehicle windshields were damaged in the parking lots of First Regular Missionary Baptist Church, 1646 Vt., and Lawrence Free Methodist Church, 3001 Lawrence Ave.

"Finally! For centuries now churches have been vandalizing entire cultures." That was one of the best statements I've read in these posts in a long time.

Finally! For centuries now churches have been vandalizing entire cultures. I think the 5 churches will be ok. Maybe it was some Cathlics who weren't allowed to get divorced.

Again we see that some people still have nothing better to do with their time get out there and help somebody that will relieve some of that stress. Churches come on you should be running to the doors to get in, to ask for forgiveness for what you have done that you think is so smart.
