Travel a waste
To the editor:
What is preventing the State Board of Education from denying Connie Morris’ “vacations”? If these conferences are so important, why can’t they send a board member who is not a “lame duck”? And what kind of “education” conference has a subject like “How International Baccalaureate Undermines American citizenship”? This is just a meeting of her xenophobic cronies, under the guise of an “education” conference. It has nothing to do with our public schools! Can’t the Legislature step in and stop this waste of our tax dollars? This is outrageous!
