Business owners, managers and others with questions about the implications and effects of a law governing employment of military personnel are invited to attend a free seminar this week in Lawrence.

Mark Bryant, Kansas director for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, and Chuck Bredahl, executive director for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve programs with the Kansas National Guard, will discuss the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) with employers from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lawrence Workforce Center, 2540 Iowa St., Suite R.
