New location, name set for Westside Deli

After five years at the corner of Sixth Street and Wakarusa Drive, Westside Deli & Bistro is about to move into a larger space and get a new name.

Owner and founder Michael Levy said his restaurant would close Sept. 20 and then reopen Oct. 1 in the new spot: 811 N.H., previously home to three other restaurants: The Bleu Jacket, The Meat Market and Krause Dining.

Westside’s new name is New Hampshire St. Bistro, to be open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Randy Dickson, formerly of Ten restaurant at the Eldridge Hotel, will be the bistro’s new executive chef, Levy said.
