Kansas University is keeping a presence at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson with an information booth and pep rally.

More than 100 volunteers, including employees, alumni and others are helping to staff the booth in the Meadowlark Building. The booth offers information about KU and freebies, such as magnets and bookmarks. The nearby KU Bookstore booth sells KU merchandise.

The Marching Jayhawks and the Spirit Squad will entertain crowds with a pep rally from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Farm Bureau Arena.
