Work has begun at the intersection of Seventh Street and New Hampshire as part of planned improvements to the 700 block of New Hampshire. The improvements will allow New Hampshire to become a three-lane street with a center turn lane.

The work will close Seventh Street westbound of New Hampshire. Eastbound traffic will be limited to parking, deliveries and turn-around traffic.

Crews will also install a pedestrian crossing in the 800 block of New Hampshire. There will be no metered parking in the affected area, and traffic lanes will be narrowed.

The work is expected to take two weeks.
