Amarr Garage Doors, a maker and distributor of doors for residential, commercial and other applications, plans to open a new distribution center in the middle of September in Attleboro, Mass.

The new center will give Amarr – which has a production plant in Lawrence’s East Hills Business Park – 65 such locations nationwide and in international markets.

More than 3,000 professional independent garage door dealers sell Amarr doors worldwide for the new construction and replacement markets. Amarr doors also are sold by Costco Warehouses, Sam’s Club and, under private label at Lowe’s Home Improvement and Sears.

Amarr is based in Winston-Salem, N.C.
