Eudora accident sends four to hospital

Four people were taken to the hospital by ambulance Sunday after a two-car wreck in Eudora.

At least one of the victims was a child.

A blue four-door car driving east on 12th street pulled away from a stop sign at the intersection of 12th and Elm streets when a Ford truck traveling South along Elm, which did not have a stop sign, hit the car along the passenger side door, Eudora Police officers on the scene said.

The officers said the driver of the car was given three citations, including one for failing to yield to oncoming traffic, but said the incident was still under investigation.

The injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
