Twenty-two shops are preparing to take their business to the streets - er, sidewalks - for the first-ever Downtown Lawrence Fall Bazaar, set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the central business district.
The event, organized by Downtown Lawrence Inc., allows participating retailers to sell merchandise on the public sidewalk outside their stores.
The bazaar is a scaled-down version of the Downtown Lawrence Sidewalk Sale, a one-day, sunup-to-sundown event that has been conducted each July for decades along Massachusetts Street.

This sounds much better than the summer sale. It's on a Saturday, so I can go….and it wont' be hot out. Good choice.
