Stacy Walters, a business consultant for Heartland Works Inc., will present “Recruiting, Training and Retaining Top Performers” Nov. 15 at the Lawrence Workforce Center, 2540 Iowa St., Suite R.

By attending one of the free sessions – either from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. or from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – employers will take part in interactive discussions about how to partner with community resources to identify, hire and train successful employees.

The presentation will include a review of tools available to enhance recruitment strategies, plus outline financing and other resources for addressing training and retention challenges.
