One car roll over sends two to hospital
Shortly after midnight, Douglas County Sheriffs were dispatched to a one car roll over on K-10 Highway midway between Lawrence and Eudora.
The car, containing three people, rolled over in the eastbound lanes, coming to rest in the roadway. One person was flown by helicopter to KU Medical Center, another was taken by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital and the third passenger denied medical attention.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and the condition of the passengers receiving medical help is unknown.
The accident closed both eastbound lanes for approximately 45 minutes while medical personnel attended to the injured.
